After four miserable years of the second worst President in American history
, we once again have Donald J. Trump taking the oath of office as President of the United States of America. Our 45th and now 47th President is kicking off the new golden age of America and it’s not a moment too soon. A raft of executive orders is going to quickly start the reversal of the Biden disaster while the less tangible but more important mood of the country will begin an even steeper reversal. The mood of the country is most important because when energized, the people of the United States are an unstoppable force. There is no question the right policies need to be in place or more accurately, the wrong policies cannot be in place working against the people and the country as they have been for the past four years. With the impediments out of the way, the American people can do what they do best: innovate, produce, and achieve great heights.
We’ve learned over our lives that when we can see the possibilities, when we believe, we are on our way to success. Conversely, when we see no possibilities, when we have no hope, we are on our way to despair and hopelessness. President Trump’s landslide election where he won not only the Electoral College vote, but also the popular vote tells us that people across the country in every state, every county, every city saw the possibilities again with him back in office and voted accordingly.
That points to an energized America. (Literally and figuratively given that President Trump has promised to “Drill, baby, drill.) Think of times in your life when you felt optimistic and motivated. You were ready to take on the world. You saw far beyond the horizon and what you saw was good. It made you eager to get up in the morning, to keep working at whatever you were doing all day and into the night.
Well, we have millions and millions of our fellow Americans who feel that way now that noon on January 20, 2025 has finally come and restored President Trump to the Oval Office. As of this writing in the evening of Inauguration Day 2025, he has begun to quickly reverse the damage done by the Biden regime through policies and executive orders. In other words, he’s keeping the promises that gave us hope during the campaign so now they’re real. And speaking of words, his powerful inaugural address set the tone that he’s back and ready to work and America is back in business.
The excitement and the energy around the country are evident far and wide. You feel it within yourself, feel it from friends and family, feel it from the people you see and hear in media reports. We are all ready to move forward. We have a President again who believes in the people, believes in the country, believes in the American dream. He told us today…
During every single day of the Trump administration, I will, very simply, put America first.
— President Donald J. Trump, 2nd Inaugural Address,
January 20, 2025
Those are inspiring words. He wants the country to succeed. He wants us to succeed. During twelve of the last sixteen years between Obama’s eight years and Biden’s four, we were told how horrible we were as a country and a people. We were told we were not exceptional and shouldn’t think that way, and further that somehow we should feel guilty for all we have been blessed with as a country and obligated to let everyone in to get their share because we were uncaring and selfish if we didn’t. The exact opposite of inspiring words.
So here we are again, much like Inauguration Day 2017, looking forward to vastly decreased regulation, high growth, and international strength and with it stability, but the four year gap we’ve had to endure between Trump administrations makes us even more eager to get going. Some of us remember when Ronald Reagan repeatedly called America “the shining city upon a hill” and how we wanted to live up to that. President Trump saying first thing in his inaugural address after greeting the dignitaries, “the golden age of America begins right now” makes us want to do the same now, some 40-plus years later. Bigly.
